We offer a 15-30 minute phone consultation with a dedicated mentor for any career, interview, or CV advice you may need.

CVs and cover letters

CVs and cover letters are the first impression a potential employer gets of who you are and what you can do.

If you don’t have a CV we can help you create one. We will talk you through what to include, how to lay it out, and how to create the best CV possible.

If you already have a CV, we can look over it, and suggest changes, making sure that everything from qualifications to soft skills are covered.

Because Eagle has many years of experience in the accounting industry, we know what the market is looking for. We can make sure that you’re using the right terminology and structure, highlighting the most important aspects of your career and skills.

We can help you adapt your CV to the particular role you’re applying for – ensuring that you’re highlighting the parts of your CV that the job description covers.

And we can help you write your cover letter – really selling yourself above and beyond other candidates. We want you to get ahead, so will help you all the way.

Interview advice

Once your cover letter and CV have opened the door, now comes the interview.

We are here to help you with interview best practice and techniques. We can explain what interviewers expect to hear in the modern day accountancy market.

Our team can talk you through the soft skills you need to mention and what sort of questions you might be asked, and how to answer them.

And to finish it off, we can help you with that dreaded question “have you got any questions for us?” – we can give you some suggestions so you are 100% prepared.

Career progression

If you’re looking to change your career and go into accountancy, we can give you advice on where to start, and what qualifications you’ll need.

We will look at what your current skills and qualifications are, and work from there, making sure the accountancy qualifications we suggest are suitable for you.
