AAT’s revised accounting qualification (AQ2016) will be launched on 1st September 2016.

The subject content for the revised qualification is broadly similar to the current qualification (AQ2013). However, there are some significant changes to the assessment structure.

We’ve prepared a document which will help you to compare the current syllabus (AQ2013) and the revised syllabus (AQ2016).

It can be used to help you choose which course you would like to purchase or how you would like to progress to the next level, so that you can plan effectively.

Students who wish to study the current AQ2013 syllabus will be required to purchase their course and register as a student member with AAT before the 31st of August 2016.

Students who would like to study the new AQ2016 syllabus will be able to purchase their course from the 1st of September 2016 onwards.

Qualifications are reviewed and updated every three years to ensure they reflect current practice in education and the workplace.

We’ve attached the document below. If you have any questions about the change in syllabus, please do not hesitate to contact us to find out more information.
