Top 7 ways to celebrate after exams

Balloons and confetti

It’s taken weeks, months, maybe years, but you’ve finally passed your exam! Whether it was your AAT Level 3 Synoptic, or ACCA Applied Skills, you deserve to celebrate in style.

We’ve put together a few of our favourite ways to commemorate your achievements:

Spread the word

You passed! You want to shout it from the rooftops, right? Or, at least Instagram.

Tag us in your photos – we love to see your success stories and we’ll add them to our feed!

Tell your boss

You have invested in your technical and personal development. Now it’s time to feel empowered and valued by your employer! If you’ve finally passed your AAT or ACCA qualification, take the time to tell your boss and see what position it puts you in.

A new accreditation under your belt could mean a pay rise, a promotion, or maybe it will put you in good stead for a job application you’ve been working on. It’s time to shout about it!

Treat yourself

Have you been eyeing up a new laptop? Now’s the best time to treat yourself! (Funds permitting). Sometimes students don’t give themselves enough credit, but you absolutely deserve to reward your hard efforts.

Become a member

Once you’ve passed your final AAT Level 4 Synoptic, there are heaps of benefits of being an AAT professional member. From saving money through AAT Rewards, to having shiny new credentials, we recommend you sign up as soon as possible.

If you’ve reached chartered accountancy through ACCA, now is the time to sign up and cash in on its global recognition and jam-packed calendar of events. ACCA is known for having some of the best benefits for its members – now including you!

Frame it

The lounge, bedroom, or downstairs loo – wherever you choose to display your certificate – frame it! You’ve worked hard to earn it, it’s understandable that you’ll want to show it off!

Holiday

Holidays are the biggest reward of them all. To celebrate passing your exam, there’s nothing better than having some time away. Whether you’re into city breaks or live for the ski season – a holiday can help you reset and relax after a stressful study period.

Spend time with family

Studying is definitely not the most sociable of past-times and getting your accountancy qualification has likely meant that you’ve had to sacrifice time spent with your family. Now is the time to make up for that. Maybe it means a nice meal out or family activity day. Whatever you choose to do, it’s always nice to show that you appreciate the support of those closest to you.

What next?

Finished celebrating passing your AAT and want to take the next step? Lots of our students choose to advance their learning with ACCA or CIMA. If you need some time to consider it, here are some things to think about before making your decision.
