How long will it take to qualify?

Strong motivation brings success for AAT distance learners

It’s rarely ability that hinders success, it’s nearly always motivation! As an AAT distance learner you will need some basic practical, key skills to help you remain motivated during your course:

  • Ability to self motivate; remaining committed to your goal
  • Being self disciplined; ensuring you make time available each week to study
  • Organisation; planning regular study sessions
  • A team player and a good communicator; working closely with your mentor and taking advantage of the help that is available

These are all skills that employers are looking for and that you can proudly add to your CV!

You can progress rapidly as you’re given complete flexibility

As our AAT distance learning courses are completely flexible, you can study at a pace that suits you. In our experience, it can take students between 6 and 12 months to achieve one level. How many hours students study each week varies greatly. It’s generally expected that AAT distance learners will study for around 3 – 6 hours per week to achieve within a reasonable timescale.
