It’s rarely ability that hinders success, it’s nearly always motivation! As an AAT distance learner you will need some basic practical, key skills to help you remain motivated during your course:

- A team player and a good communicator; working closely with your mentor and taking advantage of the help that is available

You can progress rapidly as you’re given complete flexibility
As our AAT distance learning courses are completely flexible, you can study at a pace that suits you. In our experience, it can take students between 6 and 12 months to achieve one level. How many hours students study each week varies greatly. It’s generally expected that AAT distance learners will study for around 3 – 6 hours per week to achieve within a reasonable timescale.
